What’s included in your Live Work Session?

As part of this 30-minute session you will receive one-on-one guidance from one of our knowledgeable designers on how to create a Costing Sheet specifically to your needs. 

Additionally, you will also receive a detailed 10-page guide on how to complete your costing sheet with notes on each field to be completed. Obviously, everyone’s costs can be different, but this guide and session will give you the direction you need to complete your own. (Completing as much as we can in the session).

We have provided a template [PDF – so its compatible for everyone] for you to create your own version in the software that you are most familiar with. This can be done quite adequately in excel, numbers or google docs.

But what is a Costing Sheet?

The Costing Sheet document you will create in this session will lay out some of the key information you may wish to include when communicating your designs to a supplier.

Having a clear understanding of the different components that make up the cost price of a garment is only part of the overall price of building a fashion brand - but it’s a great starting point and helps validate whether or not the collection being developed has potential to be profitable or not.
